Upvote. The engine has a fill on either side so that it can be accessed in different applications (tiller, generator, pump, etc) One fill plug may be covered by the equipment in some applications. Fill and check them both the same way, whichever one you use. If one shows a different level, the engine is tilted a bit one way or the other.
