As you'll know, development on Far Cry 5 has long since ramped down, so a fix for this issue is now extremely unlikely.

NOT your far cry 4 game also Please check your far cry 4 gamer profile .XML file , its in C documents /my games/ far cry 4 , make sure the one line reads Fullscreen="1" Borderless="0" you can open and edit the file with notepad Thanks for the suggestions. I have no overlays and the XML file has the correct info.

Games that the console doesn't work in include Far Cry, Far Cry 2 (non-steam) and Fallout New Vegas. I've tried setting launch parameters for these (-devmode, -console), and setting devmode works, as I get access to devmode only keyboard shortcuts, but no access to the console (wasd keys cause my character to move, so it's not an issue of the
