Enough engine power through the gears. The issue is with the sluggish start when warm and the IAT registering 1.9v to 2.2v at idle 900 rpm. The volts should be 1.5v and if not pusshing the accelerator pedal the volts should stay at 1.5. What could cause the car to take in more air than it should.
dojj. 4173 posts · Joined 2006. #6 · Oct 25, 2022. The rear subframe, if you can find one from Ford, was around £400 last time I enquired. Everything that bolts to it can be bought aftermarket but the subframe itself is the thing. You build the entire rear end then bolt it into place.
Get a multimeter on the battery and check the voltage - you're looking for about 12.4V with the engine off. If you're on the original battery (it will have a First Charge date marked on it somewhere), then you've got to bear in mind that it's more than eleven years old, and that's a pretty good innings for a battery.
Some have fitted a Jaguar X-type (same engine/ virtually the same car as a Mondeo mk3) alternator pulley to their Mondeos, the alternator needs a bit of (basic) machining to make it fit they have been doing this for at least a couple of years or more
