the subject of large turbos on 4-cylinder tdi 1.9 or 2.0 is as old as the engine itself. the gtb2060vklr cannot be compared to the gtb2260vk. If you drop to third gear (or even second, depending on gearing), the petrol should be faster. My petrol car does upto 50mph in first and 90mph in second so the 30-50, 50-70, 60-80 & 70-90 figures look good but 40-60 is not as good as the 50-70.
